School Meals

School Meals

Hot meals are provided by Principals catering; they conform to the new government healthy standards and cost £2.30 a day. School lunches should be paid for in advance or on the day by cash or online at

School Meal Booking forms are available from the school office.  Please note that all school meals must be booked through the school office.  The online payment system offered by Principals does not include ordering of meals and is for payment only

Facilities are also provided for children to eat a packed lunch. We encourage parents to ensure that packed lunches are healthy and wholesome. More information is available from the school office.

Children may bring fruit for break times.  Crisps are allowed in packed lunches.

For children who bring lunch to school, we do encourage them as well as parents to make healthy choices and provide a balanced diet, although we are all human and understand the attraction of an occasional treat. Our dedicated teaching assistants help monitor the quality of children’s lunches and encourage them not to waste.

Children may purchase items from our tuck shop which is held every Monday and Wednesday at morning break.  Items are priced at 50p each. A full ingredients list is held in the office and a summary of the allergens can be found in the matrix below.
